Here you have pure muscimol that crystalized out after decarboxylation of ibotenic acid. At the stage of decarboxylation generated muscimol is far less soluble than ibotenic acid and shoots these dendroid crystals while supersaturated solution cools down. This amount came from about 1 kg of dried mushrooms.
